Emma Hamilton

“Hotel Conversations” is Emma’s debut album which includes a selection of songs that have defined her time in the lobby lounges of some of Sydney’s most prestigious hotels. the songs are a combination of classic standards, French tunes and originals.

When discussing ideas for album art, Emma had sketches of her own that she wished to incorporate somehow. Often a client will be keen to put their own creative spin on the project especially if they are in a creative field themselves. Unfortunately, the childlike nature of the sketches made them unsuitable for album art. However, the colours within the sketch were perfectly suited to the project and therefore became the palate for the watercolour illustration/branding.
