A Brief Bio
The music of 24 year old Emma Hamilton draws on a range of musical influences including jazz, lounge and popular music, which all combine to create a fresh and original sound. Emma’s unique voice is smooth, warm and lush and is instantly recognisable. She accompanies herself with her tasteful and melodious jazzy-piano chops.
Emma’s musical journey can be traced back to the age of 5 when she first discovered the piano. Coming from a musical family (her father is a professional folk/Australiana artist) Emma has been performing most of her life. At 13, Emma and her brother Tom started the band CAROLINE (aka ‘The Hamiltons’). With CAROLINE they have performed in a multitude of live music venues in Sydney including The Basement, The Vanguard and The Enmore Theatre as the supporting group for Ryan Adams, in 2009.
Emma’s passion for jazzy lounge music developed during her time performing and honing her skills in some of Sydney’s most prestigious 5 star hotels including; The Shangri-la hotel, The Sofitel Wentworth, The Grace Hotel, The Harbourview and Star City Casino’s “high-roller room”.
“Hotel Conversations” is Emma’s debut album which includes a selection of songs that have defined her time in the lobby lounges of Sydney’s elegant hotels. The songs are a combination of classic standards, outstanding French tunes (Emma’s background is French) and a charming original tune, which stages the opening of this intriguing album.

Caroline is a poppy/jazzy band consisting of three young hipsters. Siblings Emma & Tom Hamilton kick off the show on piano and drums and followed by J.K. Knight on guitar.
